The service
LexaForte is a domain machine-translation API and the related Drop Zone, Feedback, and purifier demo. It is operated by Dmitrii Golovin. A signed order or partner contract (including via Custom.MT) controls if these pages and that paper disagree.
Evaluation and “zero risk”
A free evaluation means we build a prototype engine on your sample and run the included polishing passes. If, after that work, the engine still does not meet the quality you signed off against, you do not pay for the build or for production use. That does not cover third-party connector fees Custom.MT may charge on their side, and it does not cover usage you already ran on a paid key.
Production use
Direct API is billed on source characters ($50 per 1,000,000 characters unless the order says otherwise). Turnkey / CAT access through a partner console has a $200 monthly floor that covers the first 4,000,000 characters. Two terminology or style hot-fixes per month are included in that rate unless the order changes them.
What you get, what you do not
By default you get a license to send text to the hosted API. You do not get the model weights, shields, prompts, or cleaner. LexaForte keeps that IP. You keep your TM, glossaries, and outputs.
It is also possible to build the engine and put it on your own servers, with the instance under your operational control. That deployment is quoted per project — price is not the public $50 / 1M rate.
Machine translation is probabilistic. You are responsible for human post-editing before anything is published or used in a regulated setting.
Acceptable use
Do not probe the API to extract weights, share another client’s key, or upload malware. The on-site purifier demo is for a small sample file so you can see what Layer 1 does. Do not treat it as a vault for a full production memory.
Availability
The API is provided as-is. There is no uptime SLA on these web terms. If you need one, it belongs in the signed order.
Liability
LexaForte is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. For a direct claim, liability is capped at the fees you actually paid in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. A signed MSA or Custom.MT paper can name a different forum.
